Sanuces Ryu Jujutsu "Ground and Pound" Grappling Shia November 10th 2007
Our students fought at our 1st Annual Jujutsu Grappling Shia this past Saturday.  Each and everyone of them did a fantastic job!  I cannot say enough about the tenacity displayed in every match.  My hat goes off to every competitor.

2nd Annual Dr. Moses Powell/Sanuces Ryu Jujutsu Federation Seminar 09/27/07

We recently had a visit from friend Shihan Sergeant.  Shihan is a long time student and friend to Sanuces.  It was a pleasure working out with him in the dojo, as well as talking and reminiscing about Dr. Powell.  Looking forward to a return visit.
 

Grand Master Gene Perceval
The first American in this Country to receive a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, Moo Duk Kwan.  GM Perceval is a true Pioneer in the Martial Arts.  We had the honor of hosting him at our 2nd Annual GM Perceval Seminar.  Grand Master Perceval is a genius of this art.  His concepts are amazing.  We also had the honor of having Grand Master Forest Blaire attend as well.  GM Blaire is a fierce Kumite competitor/World Champion!   It was a great afternoon watching these fine men together.  Grand Master Blaire has been Grand Master Gene Percevals student and friend for over 40 years!  OUS!

2007 SUMMER BOOT CAMPS
Our Boot Camps are like none other.  We cover techniques, philosophy, training tips and joke and laugh the whole time.  Our snacks and ice cream are always a big hit too.  I worked these warriors real hard this season, and they were no less than great!  If you have not attended one of our boot camps, we will be offering one more August 13th, 14th and 15th.  Register today as space is filling up.

CONGRATULATIONS TOM CURRY, Cho Dan Black Belt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The US Black Cat Kenpo Federation conducted a Black Belt test this past Saturday.  Young Tom Curry, at the ripe old age of (10) years, took and past this vigorous and demanding test.  Overcoming testing  obstacles like a race car driver, Tom won the board of Black Belts, and was unanimously voted as a new Chodan Black Belt!  I can go on forever on how proud and how honored I am to call him my son.   A special thanks to all who attended this very special day.

February 2nd 2007 Special Congratulations to full contact competitors Masters Beams and Master Gregory!
These gentleman are successful in comparison to any martial artist.  But the need to "Believe and Achieve" is in their blood.  So they have decided to turn from point tournament champions, into full contact champions.  Both Master Beams and Master Gregory knocked out their opponents this past Friday at Louis Neglia's downtown Manhattan competition at the Capital.  Both knockouts, less than (1) minute each!

JANUARY 27TH, 2007 AARON BANKS HALL OF FAME
Longtime promoter, Martial Artist Aaron Banks hosted his Hall of Fame this past Saturday at Madison Square Garden.  A host of recipients were present.  Special mention was made for Dr. Moses Powell.  There were many pleasant comments about him and his life as a Martial Artist.  Sadiqua, her mother Jan, and Cheryl were present in honor of their father.

Women self defense class
Our Women Self Defense Class was a real blast.  Our ladies learned, laughed and did a great job.  Special thanks to our students for hanging in there and taking a beating.  Excellent warm up by superstar Dean.  Nice job by a Karate moms, Linda, Nancy, Sally, Ann Marie, Nicole, Fran, Barbara and Stacey.  Welcome to new comers Jo, Angela and Gina.

Dan Severn did an outstanding seminar at Master Beins school.  Extremely knowledgeable in grappling, Dan did a great job sharing his expertise.  An excellent workout, especially for me.  My partner for the day was my dear friend and instructor,  Grand Master Art Beins.  A very memorable day indeed.

Grand Master Bill Mccloud Seminar
GM McCloud, Shihan Lawson and Shihan Marshall hosted at seminar at their newly opened Martial Arts USA.  It was an excellent, 2 day seminar.  It was great to see some of my old training partners, instructors and of course all of my friends.  Best to luck on this fast moving school.

I recently was able to attend a seminar hosted my martial arts legend Master Steve doyon.  Extremely informative, very friendly and charismatic, Master Doyon puts on an outstanding seminar.  If you get the chance, attend one of his sessions.  I highly recommend it!

JULY 19TH 2006 BOOT CAMP
Boot Camp was a lot of fun this year.  We conducted Boot Camp at our Sunday location, in the heart of  Historic Richmond Town.  Our students worked really hard, and as a result many of them were promoted during testing.  Looking forward to next years training.

July 12th 2006 Boot Camp
This Boot Camp was great.  Tons of laughing, learning and good times.  Our students did great at our Richmond Town training location.  Afterwards, a walk for thru the cemetery for a quick trash pickup.

JULY 8 2006 SANUCES RYU JUJUTSU FEDERATION SEMINAR
"Wow, the best ever, that was great".   These are some of the comments that my students and parents made after this outstanding seminar.  We had Sanuces practioner's come from California, New Jersey, Chicago, Pennsylvania, Washington, Georgia and New York.  GM Anthony led the Junior seminar off.  He did an outstanding job drawing the attention of the students, and captivating the parents.  GM then led the adults in a (1) hour warm-up, training the entire time he pushed the room.  So many people to thank for this successful day.  Thanks to GM Anthony for an outstanding performance.  Special thanks to my friend GM McCloud, Professor Urban, Shihan Khris and Eric, Shihan George, Professor Woods and all of the dynamic practioner's and instructors that attended.  Looking forward to the future of the newly created Sanuces Ryu Jujutsu Federation, and Affiliation. June 17 2006 world seminar
Everyone had a good time at Master Gregory's Wall Dojo.  There was an excellent turnout of both children and young adults.  It was a pleasure seeing all the Black Belts come out to train.  Master Gregory is doing an outstanding job, and his students are the proof  of his hard work.  As always, a very special thank  you for my students and parents for coming out to Wall and sharing your day with me.  This event was taped.  I am not an Arnis practioner.  The style of Jujutsu I practice includes Arnis work.  If you would like to see Sanuces Ryu Jujutsu applied with a stick, then order this DVD.  Contact me for our special mail order packages.

June 3rd St. Jude Children's research Hospital charity kick-a-thon
Our children kicked over 1000 kicks for our schools special charity.  We raised over $4,900.00, and we're still going.  A very special thank you to our parents for your support.   I'm with you in looking forward to a better tomorrow, for everyone!
